Piers Anthony's novels are fun for kids and for adults they are exciting! I love these books. They are lighthearted, fun, and easy to read. I haven't read them all yet. I started with the first book A Spell For Chameleon (of which I'm missing a copy) around 2009. Last year I read the 9th in the Xanth series, Golem in the Gears. All 9 have been great fun but I think A Spell For Chameleon, Castle Roogna, and Dragon on a Pedestal are my absolute favorites so far. Here is a good reference list of the Xanth novels.
