The ground floor of the Archives is in shambles—a battle took place here recently. The second floor reveals the source of the disturbance below: Giant Spiders. Up a ladder and through a hatch in the second floor's ceiling is access to the roof. The roof features a stunning ancient star observatory—with a little grease and good sky conditions this thing just might work.

The first basement level is accessible by fixing the ancient Dwarven elevator and contains book cases, goods, and... more Giant Spiders. Through a locked hatch in the basement floor is an ominous ladder leading down into the darkness, The Deep Archives, where ancient lore is sealed away from prying eyes. A secret passage from The Deep Archives reveals a stone-hewn staircase leading down into Echodeep.
